What is cloud storage?Saving files “to the cloud” means using the internet to store your data on servers that are in a separate physical location. It has several advantages: Cloud storage lets you expand the amount of data you can save beyond the internal storage limits of your computer or mobile device. You can access your files from anywhere you have an internet connection - and share them with others as well. And storing backup copies of photos and documents in the cloud gives you an extra layer of protection if your computer or phone gets stolen, lost, etc.Can I use the cloud feature with the mail.com mobile app?Yes! Both the mail.com iOS app and Android app feature a highly intuitive cloud storage function. You can access any and all files that you have saved to your mail.com Cloud, create and manage folders, and upload selected photos directly from your smartphone to the mail.com Cloud. What if I want to send files as attachments instead? If you would rather send the file as an email attachment, simply choose > Send from the menu after selecting the file. This opens up your Compose E-mail window with the file already attached, so all you have to do is type an email address and a subject and hit > Send.
