Tae-hee Kim sa narodila 29. marca 1980 v Pusane, v Južnej Kórei. Vyštudovala Soulskú národnú univerzitu v odbore odevné návrhárstvo. Stala sa hviezdou v seriáli Stairway TO Heaven (2003), kde si zahrala zlú nevlastnú sestru. Jej ďalšie úspechy sú romantické seriály Forbidden LOVE a LOVE Story IN Harvard (2004).
