Robert Gwyn East (born 7 July 1943) is a Welsh theatre and TV actor. He also wrote Incident at Tulse Hill, first produced at the Hampstead Theatre in December 1981 under the direction of Harold Pinter. [1 ]
His son Sir Robert Filmer, father of the first Baronet, was a supporter of the Crown during the English Civil War. The baronetcy was created for his son, also Robert Filmer, after the Restoration of Charles II in his honour.
