Maria Weizmann (Russian: Мари́я Ве́йцман, Hebrew: מריה ויצמן; 1893–1974 [1 ]) was a sister of Russian-Israeli politician and scientist Chaim Weizmann (the first President of the State of Israel).
Weizmann was instrumental in obtaining the Balfour Declaration of 1917 and convincing the United States government to recognize the newly formed State of Israel in 1948.
