The Lepidosauria (/ ˌ l ɛ p ɪ d oʊ ˈ s ɔː r i ə/, from Greek meaning scaled lizards) is a superorder [2 ] of reptiles, containing the orders Squamata and Rhynchocephalia.
Lepidosauromorpha (in PhyloCode known as Pan-Lepidosauria) [2 ] [3 ] is a group of reptiles comprising all diapsids closer to lizards than to archosaurs (extant archosaurs are crocodiles and birds).
