Arnold Maria Walter, OC (August 30, 1902 – October 6, 1973) was a Canadian musicologist, educator, composer and writer. [1 ] He founded the Canadian Opera Company, and was Director of Music at University of Toronto.
Walter Arnold (27 August 1909 – 11 July 1979) was a German stonemason and sculptor. Between 1957 and 1964 he was the president of the Association of Visual Artists (DDRA / Verband Bildender Künstler) in East Germany. [1 ]

When Walter returned to the US, he studied at Hartford Seminary, was ordained a Congregationalist minister, and was an assistant minister in Asylum Hill, Connecticut, for three years. [1 ]
Walter Arnold is professor emeritus at the University of Veterinary Medicine, Vienna. He was head of the University's Research Institute of Wildlife Ecology für more than 25 years and retired in October 2021.
