Andrew Meikle byl skotský konstruktér a vynálezce, významná postava britské agrární revoluce. Po svém otci Jamesovi Meiklem, který mimo jiné vynalezl fukar, převzal řemeslo stavitele mlýnů a pracoval na statku Phantassie v kraji East Lothian.
